I had a text from my sister today, seems she was cleaning out her pantry and removed the drawers to wash them out and she found 5 older style bandaid containers, they each had old coins in them!!!!! I looked at them this evening and she had found some sweet things! I do not have the list with me, but when I get a chance, I will list them Grin
From memory-
1976D note 2 dollar bill, uncirculated.
1910 canadian nickel.
1952 franklin 50ct pc uncirculated.
a couple of undated buffalos (they both had all four legs, bummer!)
and some wheaties...
ok, memory failed Idiot
Will list them soon, maybe photos If she trusts me with them Wink

She's a cash cache hunter now. You must tell her about the initiation. You know. THE initiation!

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Treasure is where you find it. Once bought a house that had a bunch of old boxes in the attic. There was some old Coca-Cola memorabilia and an old gold class ring. Ya just never know....

I had some luck.... Went to Burger King Tuesday night, and didn't pay to much attention to the change I got back, when I went to get a drink yesterday at work, the change I pulled out there was a 1943 quarter!!!  Needless to say I didn't get a drink at work, but had a smile on my face...

Treasures come from the best places!!! I love Burger King even more!!!

SharenH
I will also have to say... I would never look at the dates on my coins. Now I'm looking at everything!!! Thank you for making me more aware of my "hidden treasures".
