you know its funny BackAtcha, prolly as you were writing that her and i were watchin treasure hunting with kristen gum and she loved it! i think she liked that they put a money estimate along with the finds. she just thought i'd find junk that was worthless. now she understands..

In my area, everytime you see a clump of mature trees out in the middle of nowhere, its a sure sign that there's an old homestead site in the midst of them. This hobby definitely changes how you look at your surroundings.  Smiley

It's a factual occurrence. Whenever I have planted a tree, I followed my dad's suggestion that I reach into my pocket and drop the largest coin I had into the root area. Superstition? Probably. Harmless? You bet! But it does cost an extra amount to plant a tree.

An unknown secret of this practice is that if you come out at midnight on Arbor Day with a yellow pillowcase, you can collect brand new banknotes which are found between each of the double forked branches.
