Oh, mine I love Paramecia. They are so lovely looking. Mr. GD, I got news for you and the rest of the forum. I cleaned my Mercury dime and brought back its innate beauty, shine, and presence. I'll be posting the whole process shortly. Stay tuned. The algae is gone and the black tarnish too!

| Today I found this 1917 Mercury Dime that seems to have been submerged in a lake or a river for many years and got a heavy coat of green algae that eventually dried out. There was a small park lake in the past where I found it. Does anyone have an idea on how to remove the algae coat? I can't even see the minmark on the back, if it has one. | |
