Go Up Go Down

Here are some of the better items I have found in my yard. This is my 1st detector and have been out about 20h. Some of the pennies were found with an F2 or Ace250. But the 1892 quarter was found by the 305.

hopefully will have more to post soon...once the snow is gone...chris

Last is the most interesting junk found....a large bell iron pin 7 1/2" x 1 3/4". Probably from some old farm or construction machinery?  Second is a tiny piece (1/2"x1/4") of Huh?  Hot to the detector but not magnetic.  Black/grey streak.

It is fun when you discover stuff in your own yard.

You are off to one heck of a start there!  I'm no veteran but I can say that John sure is right about the wife thing.

Make good use of your yard though.  I experiment in mine all the time with little ideas on how things work in different situatiions or how different coils might act, etc.

That qtr is a beaut. It reminds me of a tiny little half dime I found once.

  Best of luck to ya!
