Go Up Go Down

From the land of the Bluenose.....received a personal message from one of the forums I frequent that a fellow was coming my way for a few days from the west coast  and wondering iffen Navy Davy and I would like to take him on a dig.  No problem!

Anyway Eric from Esquamalt, British Columbia called and we agreed to meet at one of my spots.  After giving him directions I called Navy Davy who was otherwise detained so I headed out solo.  Arrived at the playing spot a half hour before the time I had given Eric and started to dig.  Lost in a penny minefield I eventually had a "Mother nature" call..........where in the halibut to go as I was in the middle of a playground.  Felt the need to "drain the vein and make the bladder gladder."  Lord love a duck I put that on hold which lasted longer than when put on hold by a Secretary at a government agency

The two sailors on course at HMCS Stadacona showed up and presented me with two hats...one for ND and I.

Anyway Eric pulled out a White's while the more sensible of the two Keith whipped out the Ace 250.

A swinging we did go and let me tell you me son within three minutes Eric was doing the happy high five.

Nitro moment as after closed examination he declared that it was plated.

Eric undaunted kept on swinging!

Keith took a route below the sidewalk which turned out to be a bottle cap bobbie trap which he skillfully maneuvered picking up the oldest coin of the day....1940 penny.

This bouy kept it slow and low for fear of overflowing and as soon as quota was had asked the bouys if it was Tim time....away we went.

After a brew we departed and I headed home stopping only long enough to get rid of my "yellow eye."

Keith stated that he was being posted her so we will have yet another digger added to our community.
Quota!

Other then meeting these fellows the highlight of the day was completing my Ben's Bread Sidney Crosby bubble gum card collection.  Sum glad to youz as eating a loaf of 100% whole wheat bread a day was giving this bouy some weird dreams at night.
