"O" for here and there

An "O" for every body part

Ring.....ring....ring! Lord love a duck my day off. Heard myself say to self not to answer. Darn....dispatcher and off on a call out. Cannot tell a Heinz pickle anything!

Anyway a few hours later back home feeling not too bad. Decided to head out for a combo dig starting on land. Zen Guru comes out of the trunk swinging. With each swing I heard a click. Was I being followed by a swarm of crickets? Slow on the draw as it was just my bad shoulder letting me know I should be doing something else. Was a time when Navy Davy and I were out 5 times a week. Lucky if I had been out 5 times in the last few months.
Found a Yank dime at which time my body felt like it was a piece of back bacon frying in the pan. Mind you my solar panel on top of the old skull got a full recharge. Enough was enough so I retreated to the water. Out comes Aqua Guru ready to face the rigors of a horde of rugrats in the water trying to drown each other in front of an unimpressed life guard. Monster truck was the first thing to end up in my sieve followed by "rings." One for the ear, one for the arm, one for the toe and a couple for the fingers. Beginning to think that someone had emptied their junk jewelry box in the lake!

45 minutes into the swish had to call it quits....just keeping pace with the rest of my body. Imagine I'll have to pay dearly for this outing!

ArfieBoy:
Another good hunt story, Blue.  Results could have been better but at least you got out.  Sorry to hear about the body getting out of tune.  I've got a few years on you, but... and I wish I could tell you things will get better but...  !
