Was out driving around and i saw an old abandoned house in the edge of a field.
The farmer was or had been bailing some hay there,and i saw him sitting under a tree
getting cooled off.
I stopped and talked to him for a minute and asked about detecting around the old house.He said go ahead as long as he was there,and he went back to bailing hay.
So off i went,I found two tax tokens,four silver quarters,a 1964,1962,1951,1942,a 1945 merc,and some wheats.And an old spoon I made a point to show them to the farmer,he told me to come back and he would show me where an older house had been.Wow.He didn't even want any of the finds.
