It finally stopped raining here in Va......sneaked out for about a half an hour and picked
up the following......1944 P nickel 1953 nickel 1936 buffalo nickel...53 wheatie....clad dime
and one good old 2006 half rotten no count american penny...I did find some nice pull
tabs. I collect them with a vegeance and throw them in a aluminum recyle bucket. One
day I'll have enough of them to buy a coil maybe.  Yah have a good one.....John in Va.

Actually I pick up every piece of brass, copper tube or wire, some iron pieces and some aluminum cans etc. and put them in my recycle buckets. I'm also always on the lookout
for arrow heads, sharks teeth and other misc. colonial items. Find quite a bit sometimes.
 Idea .......John

That seems to be a nice little collection for a day.  Well done!!

I tend to keep everything I have.  Especially heavy iron objects, and I have a bit of a lot of copper that could be converted into some cash.  Some time, it will be large enough for me to make a bit of profit, hopefully.

It's a good thing to do in farmer's fields and let them know you do that. Might same them a blowout on one of those big tractor tires that are very expensive. You'll be having fun and helping them out at the same time. They will appreciate that. Another thing I've learned about farmers is that a lot of them don't want anyone driving in their fields, so it's better to walk or stay on existing roads etc.. Get some good ones......John In Va..
