These come from shovelling material onto shore at a site where incinerate was dumped for 40 years.  I also get about $60 in scrap copper, brass and lead there per week runs my truck!

Great total in relics and scrap metal.
I remember digging up old dishes and stuff since my dad's property was used as a dump
During the early 1900's folks would bury the dishes and belongings to folks that had TB.
I used to see plate pieces and other odds and ends when my dad would dig to replace water and gas lines.
 Keep on digging them up.

A pal of mine in Melbourne puts out a notice for people to leave their used lead batteries at the curb.  He then goes and picks up $500 in  a day.  Copper, brass, lead and beer cans--good as gold--almost!
Also, a lot of these types of finds give you a glimpse into the past that is valuable in itself.  Gives you a look at what the "rollicking old town" must have been like.

Recycle, recycle, recycle; that's the way to do it.

It sure helps to balance the detecting accounts, whilst waiting for that elusive treasure hoard.  Wink
