Sorry for not having a picture up, but there is not much to see on the Indian head penny since it is corroded so badly.  I know it is a penny and a Indian because I can just barely see the 1890 and the outlining of the Indians head on the obverse.  I'm cleaning it up and then I'll post it once I do.

I had just went into the pasture and I was walking along a ditch that was washed out by all the rain we were having, and I saw a round and green object sticking out of the ground and I plucked it out.  It was a nice feeling when I found something without having to use a detector.

Yeah, I considered people finding things like that lucky.  It usually happened on accident, but I knew that all the rain we had, had to wash something down that ditch.  And there I found it.

Congratulations on the find. I've done that before. I was walking out in my Mom and Dad's back yard dumping scraps of food when I was a teenager and walked up on a Barber Dime and Indian Penny in the same spot. I of course didn't know what a Metal Detector was back then.
