More goodies today! Today at an old school yard I found the following coins.
1950 silver quarter, 5 clad quarters, 1942S Nickel, 11 jefferson nickels, 8 clad dimes, 26
memorial pennies, 7 wheat pennies, a clip on sterling silver fish about 2 " long similiar
to a tie clasp. I spent about 3 hrs at the school yard, my hunting partner found about the same amount of coins, but no silver. Yesterday I stopped at the old carnival grounds and picked up another silver dime 1951, 45 wheat and 2 memorial pennies...It was a lot of swinging and digging, but also a lot of fun.. The M SE Pro does quite good at these old sites....Has anyone made a song about detecting?  Happy hunting.....John in Va

How old of a school are you hunting at?
    I'm not sure about the age of the school, just guessing maybe early 1940s. The oldest coin I found there is a 1923 penny.  The place is loaded with coins. Have a good one .......John In Va.
