Had some fun today out in the bush nothing heavy to bring out this time, 14 musket balls a modern coin and a 49 th reg button Sir Issac Brocks own its not in good shape buttons from this location if not made of brass always corrode they are pewter. I took pain killers for my knees at breakfast time so they held up for about 6 hours so we will try that again next Sunday...HH.......

As I started to read your post I was wondering how the knees were holding up. Then I read the last part. I had the carpal tunnel surgery on both hands this year and now have "trigger finger" and pain in my thumb.    What they won't throw at us to keep us from detecting.  Angry          Wink

Hi MF,
I had the carpels both done a long time ago, but didn't get the "trigger finger" that sounds painful as a buddy of mine had that even without any operation, but we shall keep on digging regardless.

49th reg button! i have one of those! quite rare, and by my opinion knowing that the man that wore this button worked with sir issac brock himself is really neat! great find! best of luck in the new year john!
