I got out detecting with my Compass Challenger X-80 on Friday. Had to buy a new coil for it to get it operational. Smooth operation, excellent pinpointing, and a delight to use. Had fun. Didn't find anything valuable but it was fun to get out with it and learn more about it. Just found modern coins in a local park. Temperature was about 90F and semi-cloudy. Managed to get in about 1 hour and 45 minutes before lunch. Fun, fun, fun! Detecting
