Got back out on the St. Lawrence today. Done a couple of islands that I have done before. This time I got 2 lovely Canadian dimes. One a 1870 and the other an 1871 in the same hole. Also picked up a 1905 Canadian large cent in good shape along with a thimble that may be silver and an old jackknife. Some day I will learn how to post pictures.

Posting pictures is a snap. Pun intended.

When you post a new topic like you did, there are a column of blocks just below the post where you can browse your computer and upload an image. They must be smaller than 1 Meg in size. They get uploaded at the time you make your post or you can use the Modify button to add them later. Also, when you reply to a post and want to add your own pictures, use the Reply or Quote button above the post rather than the Quick Reply block below the post. Both of those options have the image area for upload.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
