Go Up Go Down

Got out this morning for a couple hours at a local sledding hill Smiley
{alt}
<space>
{alt}
It was pretty chilly out there! I was hoping that the wind wouldn't be a factor in the valley; but it was Smiley It was blowing pretty good at times.
{alt}
I called a few friends, the ones that did answer seemed to busy for some reason or another   Grin
{alt}
Here's a shot of the valley area Smiley
{alt}
Didn't find much; first time the hills got used for sledding was over the weekend. The snow was only a couple inches deep.
Here's my finds.

 Cool Colin my man, what a dedicated hunter you are there buddy! Cool Looks a wee bit like the scene out my window up here in Ottawa, and I ain't swingin' nuthin' in that! Grin It's not wild & crazy enough that you even went out swingin', in that ugly white s__t , but it's a true  testament to a great machine and an awesome operator, that you also came up with that nice lump of totally "cold, hard cash" to boot. Cool Grin Man, I suppose that these were mostly "surface" finds, just under the snow? Wow, like how many people go to these hills, you wonder then? Can you imagine going there when the snow is almost all melted after who knows how many folks spent the whole winter losing all their coins and other cool stuff? It'll be just wild there in the spring Colinman, wild I tell ya! Grin Grin

 Hey, all you moderators should get together and score our man Colin here a trophy of some sort, for the swinger with the biggest Kahoenas... Grin Grin Grin  Hey, I'm serious! Wink

Dude, are you ever going to park that seriously impressive metal detector of yours this January, or what? Grin  Thanx for sharing such an Xtreme coin shooting adventure with us, very inspirational. Cool

Thanks Larry! All the finds except a couple were in the snow, the others I had to chisel out of the frozen ground Smiley

I won't be parking the detector any time soon, heading back out to hills on Tuesday Smiley
It's warming up to -9C for Tuesday Smiley
