Go Up Go Down

I had a few hours yesterday afternoon and first re-tried a local baseball diamond where I had found a 1953 silver quarter last week. (Pic of that also, I nicked it on the back).
Nothing much so I retried a trashy football field at a small local high school and stayed away from the sidelines to avoid the junk a bit.
An hour later I had 5 loonies, a toonie, 4 quarters,  and some other misc clad, and a pouch full of trash for a total of $8.27. Only posting for my American friends and the others in the world without the $1 and $2 coins to pay for an occasional brewsky!
(OK you can't get rich on it but its better than $.67 cents & a sore back)!

I was down under back in the 70's a few times when Surfers Paradise still had $.90 cent Jumbo Prawns and a 4XXXX was $.10! (Ya I am really old).
It was before I was TH'er, and even when I came home and started detecting in Canada the real old guys had already mucked the HD silver. When I joined the local club here they showed my pictures of 4 liter baskets of silver coins and such from the local beaches.
Oh well, there is still plenty, just a little more spread out is all!
