Hi Tab dog, I found some of these bullets, only they are from Canada and are from a site where the Irish Feinians tried to invade Canada, this site was given to us by a lady who has since passed away and the site is now built up with houses but we managed to get quite a few bullets from it as you can see some are pretty mangled.
The Feinian Raids were about the same time as the civil war "I think?"
You will be able to tell which ones are from the US side of the border.

Hi FOS,
The land around this area was very rocky and some were actually barely under ground nothing more than 3" deep.
There are more of these somewhere when I find them I will post a pic of the entire bunch, just for interest.....HH   Johnnn

yes they look alot like the civil war.i have some william cleaners from G.GRANT and his march into RICHMOND VA. also have a VMM BUCKEL. Also buttons from that time.Virgina buttons also.
