Go Up Go Down

Hi Folks,

I met RIP through tha friendly forum and he had
invited me up when they come to Lake Degray.

Old RIP and crew headed up to Lake DeGray this
weekend to camp and cook and even do a little
detectin.

{alt}

{alt}

They were cookin up some nice linked sausage as
Tabdog showed up. We ate some, and then I talked
old RIP into doin some detectin.

It was late but we hit tha beach,

{alt}

It seems to have been gone over pretty well with a
few machines that notched out pull tabs pretty well,
because that is mostly all we found,

{alt}

I did manage to find a gold plated ring, but after I
handed it to RIPs wife, I never saw it again???

Here is something that I thought was interesting.
It could be a hand made marble, but it seems to be
a stone that is almost round,

{alt}

{alt}

My son called and said he needed tha car. So I high-
tailed it back to tha barn, but not before I saw a nice
sunset,

{alt}

Tomallie is another day. I will head back up there and
see if I can squeeze somethin out of that lake.

Thanks fer l@@kin yaw,

Tabdog

Thanks for the info. I have found those Ceramic Ball Bearings
and had no idea what they were.

That place is very unlikely to have had a RR. The geo is just
not right. But it is possible, I guess. It does not appear to
be ceramic. It does not seem like a baked clay marble either.
But it could be?Huh??

Thanks for the info. Now I know what those things are,

Tabdog

Just calling it as I see it. I really enjoy your posts, Tabdog. You're a great photographer. Some of the pics you post would fit well in a "Beautiful Places" screensaver Kiss
