I thought you might like to see a couple of the roman brooches i have found.These dont come around very often in my neck of the woods so i was over the moon to get one let alone two. Detecting

Chances of finding more are very slim.Not a great deal of roman activity down the deepest south of the u.k. Well my area anyway.But still we live in hope.

One on right still has enamal intact but pins are missing on both brooches.The one on the left has been bent in antiquity.(or by modern ploughing).
