Well it is hard to believe but I had another great day after finding 2 Indians yesterday 1894 good condition and 1874 with really worn date. So I was surprised when I found a 1902 indian, 3 wheaties, 1944 Mercury, and sterling religious medal of saints.

Congrats - I haven't found anything but modern coins so far this year & old sites have produced junk. Great site you've found to detect. Sue

I've only found one Indian head cent (so far) and had problems getting it looking good enough to truly enjoy.  One day I will get the formula right for getting those puppies looking good.

I was pretty surprised to find out that the pic is really of the lovely Lady Liberty with a feathered head dress!  It was like the government should have written "SYKE!!" on the back cuz they got me with that one!
