The V3 did not let me down today as I have only had it about four weeks and have only been out a few times due to poor weather. We went to an old ball field and my first find was a wheat penny and not long after at about 6.5" a mercury dime and to my surprise just before leaving at about 8" a 1929 wheat, wow what a day.

Very much, but I have allot to learn yet. but today I found another mercury dime 1920 and Sunday I found a nice little silver ear ring and I hope to post both of them tonight.

Hi I,m new here.I juet got a v3.only used it 3 times.I find it hard to get used to after having a xlt.

yes the v-3 is a little hard to get used to but don't give up i am going into 3 months with mine and i am still only finding cladd but on a better note i am finding more nickles and so far 4 rings nothing great but getting there. i have also watched the video for the third time and i have to say i have learned from it every time i watch it more each time because i can relate to a lot more after using the machine and coparing it to the video.
