Went on a club hunt to a river here near Phoenix where they go tubing a lot and they pass under a bridge near a state park. A lot of tubers loose things at this point and several other spots along the river. I happened to find this lovely sterling ring with 14k gold inlay that has caricatures carved into it. A farmer, a pickup truck and the farmers wife. Found it with my cheapie Bounty Hunter Treasure hunter on the shore. The State had lowered the river flow the previous day and this part of the beach was exposed. At least 3 others found rings also. Enjoy.

Unfortunately you never know when they are going to do it, as they don't publish it until after they have done it. I suppose it was in response to the recent rains we had here lately They are storing the water for future use. It also helped that the tubers and visitors were not around. The season is pretty much over now. Lucky for me Wink

I Hope you didn't lose anything valuable while you were there. I tubed it once in the 80's. Got off at that same spot and while wading to shore I fell into a drdge hole and went into up to my neck. Brusied my legs and almost drowned. Friends pulled me out in time. My first time back.
