Went back to the ball field to see if I could rescue some more silver and about an hour and a half in I was beginning to wander and then I hit a signal that went from -70 to +79 and thinking I may have a deep wheat or IH penny I dug down only to find a rusty nail so I covered up the hole a little disappointed but ready for another target but as always I rescanned the hole and there was still something there the signal was more positive than negative hitting +81 at times and it was only about three inches from my last plug so I dug down thinking I would have a matching set of bent nails and out popped a 1918 S mercury dime and I was excited. I went on to find two wheat's and some more clad.
