A day to be cherished.  A day off......but not free from errands.  Nogo was running smoothly after having a new tye rod  installed which was fortunately covered by warranty, oil change (free with one more left) and a tank full of high test........could use  some of that myself!  One less worry.

Then to the library to take down my detecting exhibit.  Ken, the head dude at the Lower Sackville Branch thanked me which was okay but even better was the half dozen 2016 calenders he gave me.  These show old photos of  the community.  Sure some will be found in mailboxes shortly.  All in all for the work put into it it was rather rewarding on a personal level.

After dropping off a few dozen books to me father I was then free to pursue a hunt.  Plan was to meet Navy Davy at a park once low tide hit at 1230hrs.

Stopped on the Hammonds Plains Rd at the park and immediately felt like I was in the Triangle...you know the one.The Asian one that grow the poppies as a cash crop!  These poppies however were the kind that one wears to show respect for those that have given us freedom.  Rescued one that had our flag. Just didn't seem righteous to have it laying on the ground.

34/50 percent of quota was dug   and it was time to hook up with ND.  I was hoping it was warmer there as the light snow and wind just cut right through this old bouy.  Was a bonus in that the Freedom 3 Plus didn't balk at the  cold.

Nd was already on site and digging away.  Sure he was triple bagged in clothing as it was darn chilly.  Dig we did with the only highlight of the park there was a 1970 French coin.

Handed my F3P over to Navy Davy as the arm rest is coming off.  I cannot tell you how many repairs to machines ND has done for me over the years.  A true handy man's handy man!
