Hit Avila Beach for four hours for 17 cents in clad, some shells and some agate. Lots of pull tabs and bottle caps. I liked the stability of my detector at this beach, much more than at Pismo. I did not false until I actually hit where the waves were lapping.
I did pull out a huge hypodermic needle, that could have ruined someones day!
I worked around the park benches. There is a lot of trash there. By slowing down I was able to pick up the good signals between the trash and pulled out two nickles and a penny. I was pleased with being able to hear those tones.
Fun day in all, just slow but you can't beat the scenery!
