Go Up Go Down

Earlier this month I hit a site of a old schoolhouse.  The schoolhouse had been torn down sometime around 1950 if I recall correctly.  Since the site was surrounded by woods it made for slow work.  Found some shotgun shells and what looks to be a piece of desk hardware.  Possibly a hinge to a old flip top desk or something like that.  I also hit a 1925 Buffalo...only coin found for me at that site but a good one to find.

Thanks for looking and HH.

I see you are still the luckiest MDer ever graced this site, String.

Nice buff.  Did you raise that date with a drop of "nickelene?"

I do have some nic a date but no the picture doesn't really do this coin justice.  After a soak in warm soapy water to get the dirt off the date was able to be read without any chemicals or cleaners.  Unfortunately it doesn't show up well in the pic.

Thanks for the comments. Cool

Nice finds bud!
That Buffalo's in great shape and I agree with you that the other piece seems to be a desktop hinge. The reason I say
that, sad to say, is that I remember them from the desk I sat in as a kid.
