 Undecided Went to Prospect Park, the major park in Brooklyn. Came away only with clad coins including  1953D & 1958D Jefferson Nickels which I needed for my album. So it wasn't a total loss

i agree about a bad day metal detecting is still a good one compared to working. i grew up in brooklyn and now live in south carolina. 2 completely different worlds.

that is one old park. hope you keep finding. those beaches like coney island and brighton beach are amazing detector beaches. provided you don't hunt alone. happy hunting.
