Go Up Go Down

My eyes were going a bit out on me tonight, so I got help from my daughter.. I knew it had a '20' on it, and some strange intentions around the outside, but other than that I wasn't sure. So, she said that it said 20 euro cent, and so I looked on eBay, and apparently a few countries minted these. As it turns out this one is from Austria! My first Austria coin as well as my first foreign coin!

This haul was
4 quarters
5 times
12 pennies
2 nickels
and
20 euro cent Austria
None of the dates on the dimes or quarters were pre-1965 bummer.. but still it was fun.  Grin

finally - some strange round thing with marked edges and pointy spindle like tips on either side. not sure really what that is, but I remember seeing it a few times before. Any ideas on that?

Cheers!

Nice finds, Zul32!  I, also, knew I had seen the spindle thingy...  and Nickel_n was dead on!  Thanks for sharing!
