Go Up Go Down

Hello All,

The wife and I went up north this weekend and hunted along a portion of the old Route 66 with some friends of ours.   I haven't had a chance to take pictures of our finds yet, so for now I'm just posting pics of some of the things we left behind.

BA

We had fun.   I wanted to  bring home a couple of the cars, but the wife said "NO!".

Here's a few more pics of what got left behind.

That last one is awsome, I'd been digging that one out to haul home for sure Smiley Here in Id it would be full of bullet holes.  Wink

I'm with Seldom on this one though, what did you keep?  Smiley

Pictures of what we kept are coming in separate posts....  coin-wise, neither of us did real well.  My best was a 1943 S nickel.   The wife has a big slab of aluminum slag that has peridot in it (based on a couple of other finds, we think it was from a lapidary shop that burned down).  lots of bottles, and quite a bit of petrified wood including several lapidary quality pieces.

Cool Pics thanks for sharing can't wait to see what you brought back. Too bad the wife didn't let you bring some of those cool car parts.
