Go Up Go Down

Greetings All, it was supposed to rain/snow with wind Sunday in Seattle, but the weather didn't listen
to what the weatherman was saying, so what was a THunter to do?  Go out in the sun with his MD,
of course.  I went to a local park on a hill, and after determining that the summer parking for festival
was more swamp than parking lot, I moved up the hill, past the tot lot and the volleyball court, where
I found the flattened penny, (I know there is a special name for them), with "Help - Hurricane Katrina
2005 - Disaster" stamped on it.  Further down the backside of the hill, found some clad, along with a
nice little silver Peace medallion.  I was using my Minelab Explorer II and heard a tone and read a visual
that normally would indicate a silver coin for me, but after digging around a large boulder, I decided not
to bring in the excavator but to mark the spot for a future dig.  This is the second time this has happened
to me with my Explorer II and I noticed that both times, there were large boulders involved and batteries
were very close to end of life, but not to the point where I was hearing a low battery indicator.  I wonder....
Anyways, thanks for looking, HH Robroy59
