I really don't think your coins are Spanish.

The larger coin has the shamrock ring on the reverse to facilitate cutting it in 1/4  1/8ths.

That Idea came from the Spanish.

I've seen that Castle on a coin before but after 2 hours of net chasing, I be dang if I can find it.

The small coin looks to have Persian Script on it. Persians could not and would not put a Figure Head on coins due to

Religious things.   ( Muslums )

The lion looks English to me. Possibly King Charles I. Perhaps an expert will come along and correct my guess.

Bing!

Your coins are from Persia or Near.

It's not a Castle. It's A Mosques!

Minarets for Prayer Call on top!

Still Looking!

England used a Gryphon!

Unlikely the one on the right is from Persia. The letter C is clearly Anglo Saxon.

Agreed!   Letter C.

But that's a Mosque and there is some thing in common.

Turkey is a choice but I think it came from more south.

It is not a Mosque. Even a thousand years ago Mosques had spires for minarets. The key is the rampant lion, which is clearly British. No other nation uses that style of lion. Go from there. Trust me on this and use the rampant lion as your guidepost. The C made me think it was either Charles I or Charles II but in researching them, they used horses.

I learn something every day.

About half way down this page, it appears to have a value of around $90.00. Nice find!
