Go Up Go Down

Went to a forest preserve for an afternoon hunt and all began well with about 20 cents all in one hole at the base of a tree. Moved to another tree nearby and found what seemed to be a witchcraft of some type. Two coconuts that seem to have words printed on them, a few wrapped candies and a few pennies, all at the base of a tree.  Shocked Don't know what it meant, but my wife got scared and begged me not to touch it for I was about to go for the pennies   Grin We left and kept hunting around. Well, guess what, that's all we found today  Shocked

My question to you folks is, what would you do if you find something like this?

P.S. - I wonder if all the pennies I found earlier were also related to it.  Undecided

You don't say what kind of area you found them in.

I've found stuff sorta like that and respectively I just covered it up and let it be.

That's just me.

Witchcraft or Wicca is a recognized religion. As my native beliefs are also scary to many people I do not share them but I will respect others beliefs.
In my opinion you had nothing to worry about but leaving it as it was is what I would have done.

Yes, I agree. I found another one in a beach in Hawaii last summer. Some sort of liquid inside a jar and left it alone. But this one got me in shock for a second and quickly called my wife who was detecting nearby.

Go Up Go Down

Here is my spooky find in the woods during deer season last November. My son and I saw this during sunrise and I know it was just reflections and shadows but it looks like a old man from days long gone. We also saw another face in the lower right in the brush after loading the pic into the computer. I thought it kinda looked like Lincoln.

Oh boy, oh boy! Man you gave me goosebumps. I have detected alone in the woods a couple of times and now I don't know if that is a good thing anymore.  Undecided

The original picture is better. I had to shrink this one down to get it to upload. This is right next to the Missouri River here in Missouri and is along the Lewis and Clark trail. I thought I was seeing stuff so I took a picture on my phone and it showed up. It only has happened one time in many days in the woods over 5 years in that area but it did freak me out a bit. The small face to the right looks like it is screaming..in 2009 I had a Cougar following my tracks so every year is a new adventure. At least with hunting I have a gun cause I don't want to wack anything with my detector Round About
