Sunday's finds

Sunday I took my 8yr old daughter with me to the volley ball court located in the city park just a couple miles from home. Easy pickins there because I don't have to spend a ton of effort digging. So, from about 1.5 hrs of coin-shooting, we came up with two dimes, and about 7-8 pennies, a few pull-tabs, some foil trash and a couple of large nails that were really deep in the sand (about six inches down!). But, the nails were permanent to the place so I'm guessing that they were border/edge markers of the boundries of the volley ball area.

Nothing that noteworthy (pre 1965) to mention, however it was wonderful for her so that made the trip all the more worth while.

No mormon gold pieces this time (sigh), but perhaps one day!

OK, I took a picture.. actually it was just six pennies.. but still - it was fun.
Oh, and the small thing in the middle - I thought it was a pellet - for a pellet gun, but it's a small aluminum bead that you'd string for a necklace (at least it feels/looks like that).
