Hi All,
Not such a good day for finds "no silver this week" but it was a beautiful day with a worthwhile bunch of stuff.
Two tunic buttons from the Milita days they are round and I believe just for show a hunting button depicting a hare and greyhound the circular object is a "winding key" for a pocket watch also the back from a pocket watch a bunch of 9mm cartridge cases all from the same spot a ring that surprised me to find one way out in the bush "but it is only gold plated" a large spoon and a WW1 "collar dog" badge....And I think my season is over till end of <March....HH...Johnnn

Johnnn,

How do you get through a winter without swinging the detector? I am fortunate that I don't have that problem. Hopefully you have other hobbies that will take up your time. See you next spring.Coloma Gold

Hi C G,
Yes its a little frustrating but I have got used to it, I usually have a trip to the UK to visit family and have access to a large farm there, while I'm there I go out every day weather permitting.
I go through all of my finds and do research for Spring and of course I can see everyone's posts so I get to share those moments its interesting to see such a variety of stuff......HH...Johnnn

Some nice finds there Johnnn. The "season" is winding
down for a lot of folks in the northern countries, so doing
winter research is a lifesaver. Spring will come along soon
and then the fun begins all over again.....stay warm!

Getting too cold and ground too hard for me too. I'll have to do research and play with my gun project. I'll still get cabin fever though. Grin
