Go Up Go Down

Nice day for some metal detecting, got some nice finds, best was the WW1 badge in excellent shape this came from a new spot that because of the grass always being too high to swing the machine I never spent much time there but due to the long snow period it had flattened down a lot, so next week I will get another go at it.
Two nice coins a very early Victoria 1859 and an Edward 1907 various other coins  one silver, an unusual heel protector made of brass never seen one like that before, a pen knife with the comp logo "drytex" made in Switzerland a nice Indian head a boy scout badge "US" and an 1812 button very large......HH,,,Johnnn

Hi BA all,
I am upset that I have this dam injury to my knees, as the items in the pics are just a few yards away from my "Tea mug" hoard that is still buried and I want to dig them up!!
and still not any better..HH.......Johnnn

One of my friends is a pharmacist, he gave me a box of pain killers, should I need them they are in my detecting kit. I have not had to use them yet but it is comforting knowing that they are there. I also have a pair of safety glasses as the one eye does not close and needs constant protection from dust, bugs, and wind. Tuesday I'll be back in surgery for some corrections ......aaaah isn't life fun  Grin I hope that you have a good time out Johnnn and may your finds be plentiful.

Xavier
