Go Up Go Down

Hi All.
Well I went out to my site, before the trip I took some pain killers "they did help!" It took me about half and hour to find the things I left behind the day I injured my knees and about two hours to find the hole they were in, even in the bush I fill all holes but it eventually came to light.
There were two bottles in the hole as I hoped, both are from the WW1 era one is a defunct Canadian brewery the other "HUGHELS DANDER-OFF" bottle nicely embossed.
There were 9 enamel cups total and a wash basin that's the second one I found in this area.
A nice Canadian button I think WW2 a few good coins and a whole lot of bullet casings, and check out the lead there is 8 lb of the stuff and there was more which I will get another time, I left when the pain killers wore off...........HH.....Johnnn

I'm not sure which I like better, the button or the bottles.    Probably the bottles since it is a lot harder to find them whole.   Congrats and glad you were able to make it out.   Hopefully they'll fix you up so you won't need to take the pain killers first

Nice finds! Take it easy on the knees. Hope they can fix them up soon. I know the feeling... had carpal tunnel surgery and supposedly should feel OK in a short time.... WRONG... and I have another hand to go yet (Monday)..... Can always duct tape the detector to my arm... Grin

Hi Mudflap,
The knees are a new problem, Carpal tunnel's have both been released some years ago if yours heal up like mine then swinging the machine should be OK, hands get tired if you can imagine what tired hands feel like, but take the time to heal and don't do anything too strenuous for some months you should be OK.......HH.......Johnnn
