Hi All,
Back at our new site and we had a productive day, my detecting buddy done well again with silver coins, I found a silver "locket" which contains an artifact which is a splinter of wood I have read these things are suposed to be from the cross of Jesus the locket is from a Catherderal in France and I believe it was lost early 1900's.
A few more Militia buttons a 1884 "V" nickle worse shape than the one I found last week, two very interesting tokens celabrating "Sir Issac Brock hero of upper Canada" dated 1816 and another copper coin that is totally illegible all in the same hole.
I used to be excited about finding cannonballs but now when I find them they always seem to be too far away from the truck so I have to carry it around with me till I can dump it at my vehicle.
I also found another "Mystery" object which I will post later.
..........HH.........Johnnn

Johnnn, you need to either park closer or discover the fountain of youth (or persuade someone to be your apprentice/caddy)

Hi BA,
Yes to all of your suggestions, but what I need is a small off road vehicle with a basket on the back I never expected a C/B but that's a silly statement because this hobby will produce just about anything.

Yeah, ATV's are a favorite among my local club membership---especially those who regularly go on the monthly club hunt.   Most of them have fitted a basket to either the front or the back....if nothing else, it lets them cover a lot more ground than those of us who have to hoof it out from the campsite (not to mention they can haul back more large goodies)
