Go Up Go Down

Sooo, yesterday I pulled a nice silver (maybe white gold) pendant ringed with diamond chips in my morning hunt. It has been raining and I didnt want to stick it in my pocket with all the mud on it. So I stupidly put it in my pouch, when I got to the sink to wash off all my finds it was no longer in my pouch  Angry I went back over the same spots several times to no avail. Im sure everyone has a "learning experience" like this and thought it might be interesting to hear about the ones that got away. On a side note I dug up several questionable signals in the area looking for it and found more pennies, so it would seem Im passing up coins in my regular hunts, so two things learned, dont put the good stuff in your pouch and dig those crappy signals too. Hopefully I will be able to relocate it in the future but I have been kicking myself since then for not sticking it in my pocket.

Failure does not mean I'm a failure; It does mean I have not yet succeeded.  Wink

I like your quote, Antony!  Priceless!

Caleb, you will probably find the ring again...   or something a lot better.  Just keep swinging!         Detecting

That is a good quote, I also like the Thomas Edison quote "I have not failed, I just found 2000 ways how not to make a light bulb"
