I just found a ten francs coin this afternoon and a bullet.
This changes from my previous finds (biers caps <-- I've got a lot of them if you interested in a trade  Grin  )

Well, maybe your bottle caps are more valuable than ours, especially those coming from fine French wine bottles  Grin

No it is not! As you put it well, it is about the thrill of the find, regardless of whether is clad or Walking Liberty silver. I mean, I prefer the silver better, but a find is always good however it comes. The same thing you wondered about how 16 quarters got there unnoticed was most of my conversation with my wife on our  way back home. We still theorize about it, but we both also wonder if there is yet another haul awaiting us in that same lot.

Cyber, you and GD are absolutely correct!  It is the thrill of the hunt & the find that makes it great (the find is always more thrilling than the hunt!)

You and your wife need to get back out there and see what else is waiting for you.  Maybe in the morning?!  Wink

I don't mind the mud either, but that tot lot was so tempting and for a reason. My hunting gut instinct took me there and for good Wink
