Go Up Go Down

Here are my Florida Finds from Jan 3 to Ap 8. Still no Gold rings but I have a few weeks left!
17 Rings, 3 Sterling, 1 possible platinum, (It Tested so), 5 costume, and 8 Bling. None in the water.
$148.00 US clad including 1166 pennies and 230 nickels (So you know I dig it all).
8 Wheaties including a 1913, 1 buffalo, (37 with 4 legs), and one silver war nickel.
6 Foreign Coins, a bunch of tokens, a couple of sterling earrings and a bracelet, Misc. Bling, Lead, & more.
I do not keep the ton of trash I get, but believe me I dig lots. (The 1000 pull tabs = 1 ring rule is still true).
I average about 15 hours per week metal detecting and do beaches and parks mostly. I use the AT PRO, but switch to my old Fisher 1266X with 3 ½” coil in heavy trash areas.
Found 1 gold ring in Florida in 2016, 3 in 2017, and if I can swing over at least one in 2018 I will be very happy!

The one that looks gold with the amethyst stone is 925 plated, but I will test the other ones again, I thought there was a white gold in the bunch.
The competition on the beaches is pretty brisk so I do a lot more parks and such. Unfortunately the Florida High Schools are mostly closed campuses, I do pretty good on Gold at them in Ontario.
Thanks for the reply.
Cheers,

Yep, the only way not to walk away from the gold is to DIG IT ALL.
