Got home tonight and checked out the yard with the Golden Umax.....for the first time using it, I picked up a 1968 quarter, about 6 inches down with a nice high tone and a strong signal......stock coil. I think I am gonna like this machine, as I have scanned this spot before with the silver, but thought it was trash based on the disc setting.
Headed out to the abandoned town tomorrow.....oughta be an awesome fun day with my son. Pictures to follow....stay tuned!
