well the jeweler said they are CZ's, took her one look without an eye piece and a check with a thermal tester lol.  While I was there I had her look at this thing I found awhile back at a very old homesite, and she said it looked art deco style from 1930's - 1950's and couldnt identify the stone, but thought it was pewter its 2 1/4" at the widest point and 2 3/4" tall

its light, no markings anywhere on it. I didnt ask her to date them, she wasnt interested in the ear rings at all, but she sure checked out that other thing close, she loved it lol.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

My first thought is usually correct, and it was,  but it was fun to wait until today to see. I love this hobby, never know what your going to find! Those were 5-6" deep, with the freeze and thaw we have here, Ive dug a 1920 penny at 3" and 6 feet away dig a zinc coated penny at 4" I cant believe those were down that far. I should have had them dated like previously stated, but didnt think about it lol. Oh well, there on craiglist now for $30  I'll buy more batteries with the $$$ instead of a new detector like I wanted lmao
