The trouble with "diggermeisters" being like caddies is you have to pay the caddies!  You gonna split the take  Cry  with your diggermeister or what?

Well with unemployment as it is today I'm sure that you'd have takers for 20% and just think how many holes you could dig on one day.

Now I think about it wouldn’t work for me.  No no!
I couldn’t trust them. I would be afraid that they will knock off my finds. Angry

Thanks all you guys, the farm is all meadowland and reasonably flat apart from herds of sheep there's no hazards, my surgeon has told me I may never kneel down again fully so I will have to become inventive as I stand there looking at a possible goodie that I can't pick up "I'll figure it out" I'm sure one of my nephews would come along...HH....johnnn

Don't Say Never Dude, We can Fix this, Get some of them Knee pads and then get some contact Addesive than Get some of that BLACK Closed Cell Foam and stick about 3/4" to 1" layer inside the Knee pads But cut it way over size so it comes around the side of your Knees, Then Cut Two Vs in each side, One above the Knee cap and One Below So you get 4 Vs two each side of the knee so it will bend and not stick outward, If you get some of the Black ones with the twin straps that will hold them in place top and bottom and the kake the other pad the same, But you want that Black dense Packing type Foam, If not then use about 3/4" of NeoPreen wet suit material Might be softer and easier to work with,

Give it a go john, We Need you out In the Field, Its a matter of National Safety you Understand, We're Depending on ya,

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Hi R R,
Its like this, being in the UK on my annual visit I can not pass up my visit to this farm where Early Britons/Romans/Saxons/Viking/Tudors...and all others over time have trodden the soil there. I have always got it in my head that I will at least find some "Hammies" which will make finding all the shrapnel bearable so watch for my post when I return I will enjoy the early fresh air hope to get quite a few visits in this time ....HH,,,,Johnnn                      Pic of the farm here with

Lovely place John, Just working them south facing hills Mate, and just fair enough down the slope, about 5 or 6 ft Lower level than the highest areas and you will find the good gear aye,

Good Luck mate,
