Hunting conditions are excellent here Temp is 75 F and the County just mowed my favorite site. Spent 2 hours there today and found this button and some clad. Its a U.S. Navy cuff button from 1941 I think. Similar buttons were made from 1852 to 1940. In 1941 they changed the direction the eagle's head points... Smiley  I think this site is getting hunted out. I hunted 2 hours and dug 40 credible targets. I found this button and 12 cents clad. The rest of the targets were coin size iron, lead and aluminum trash. Tomorrow is another day. Happy Turkey Day everyone.
