worked east beach today & it`s so empty you can`t even find a bottle cap, so we`ll wait till it`s warmer and hit it again, in the meantime went to a local school field and found good clad, but not dealing with the drone wasp problem out there, did recover 55 cents before being chased off by a very large menacing drone, man you need a case of black flag to go out there.....anyway me and the two other guys that work this beach area have vacuumed up all the easy goodies so far, but there are people coming out to suntan. as we get closer to memorial day things will pick up........

Gizmo, the shifting sands are the problem. The goodies are still there, just buried under the winter movement of sand. Wind will blow the sands grain by grain from one place to another. When that happens, your targets become buried too deep for your detector. What you can do is look around in the lower areas that have lost sand. A good eyeball on the beach will help you. You can find some really old stuff that way. Seriously old.

As stated in a way earlyer post...I found 3 rings in 3 diffferent days at the beach all in the same area. Why didn't I find them all the frist day? Because I missed the second ring and third  by that much. Thing I loved about hunting the beach? I could SEE  Shocked where I walked thus criss crossing the second and third day. good luck and happy hunting...
