last Wednesday's North Easter on the south Jersey shore made for some great hunting
Thursday's hunt went well with 170 coins with 6 silver coins total hunting time was 6 hours

Friday's hunt on the same beach was cut short to only 3 hours only 50 coins 1 silver quarter but 3 gold rings and one gold chain..no more hunting till the next north easter or a strong south east wind

not pictured was Thursday's hunt as coind have been already cleaned looking for the silver

pictured is the Friday's hunt

mudflap,  most times a hunt at the low tide line but due to the full moon and high tide along with the strong tide surg ripping away at the sand dunes, the waves dug out along the bottom of the dunes releasing alot of older coins.I found a piece of tarnish metal that was engraved with the date of 1938..

From the land of the Bluenose.....outstanding totals...congrats!  My knee gets sore just thinking about that amount of knee bends required for that many coins.
