Hi All,
Went to a WW1 site again this week, wasn't able to find my NY vehicle tag which is a disapointment.
Had the usual kind of day with a few different things, you may wonder why I am showing you a bunch of "pull tabs" These were found in a way we would all like to get them ....In one hole, all 27 of them thats a whole days collection in one go, after that I didn't find another, I couldn't believe what I was finding so my reasoning was OK so that means there has to be 27 "cans" somewhere here but there wasn't,
there was however a lot of charcoal in and around the hole and these are beer tabs, I leave it at that.
The usual shell casings were everwhere and a horse shoe, didn't find a single coin, the only item of interest was a shovel that I believe was from the 1812 period as I had found one or two musket balls at other times here.
I found a "bird leg ring" dated 1975 and had a place called La Salle stamped on it and NY so some poor unfortunate Goose or other bird met its fate out there in the bush.
Here are the pics...........HH.......Johnnn
oh and always the sink is my hobby sink.
