Yesterday. Nothing here in USA is old, only stone artifacts and occasional crude copper artifacts -- smelting never did catch on here in any big way.  So a lot of our targets are from century or two ago....in new england and north are some even old things, but still less than 500 years old.  We must content ourselves with the more developed and second generation numismatic messages, which are interesting in themselves and very instructive too.

This insignia from the Mexican Punitive Expedition of 1915-1917 bears devices of interest, not least of which appear to be the omniscient eye representing the willful entity called forth bodily from the other world by the early founders of this country, to appear in time of need and guard against religious dictatrship, antifreedom, and tyranny in general.  The five pointed stars are 13, a coven, such as the coven of joshua and his 12.  Ancient significances on a piece less than a century old, but the minting is perfect and the 13 swords are indicative as well as the key and sword crossed.  This punitive mission here had definite treasury aspects, as it was the first real flexing of the new federal reserve which has since become israel, and all that that means.  The illegal income tax had just been instituted through a major web of lies and deceit since our civil war, which was also create by these bankers as revenge against the true American Andrew Jackson, and the civil war ere was, most importantly, a way to consolidate the foreign bankers powers through the federal government (led to income tax) and the institution of paper fiat money (The greenback).

I am still researching the exact issue of the insignia.

ok i found it -- enlisted mans collar insignia, quartermaster.....the pix i found is from an old manual but does the job....interestingly, the only other thing that came up that could be pertinent -- searched: sword key crossed -- googs -- was the coat of arms concerning this unified township in germany  with this history here:

Freigericht is a municipality in the Main-Kinzig district, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated 15 km east of Hanau, close to the Frankfurt Rhein-Main region at the foothills of the Spessart, directly at the Hesse-Bavaria border. More than 40 % of the area is forested.

Freige richt is divided into five villages, which have been independent until 1970.  Altenmittlau  Bernbach Horbach Neuses Somborn

On 1 January 1970 the five villages voluntarily incorporated into a new municipalty named Freigericht. The name Freigericht (lit. Free Court) had been unofficially used for the villages for several centuries. The name Freigericht translates as "free court". According to legend, it states that farmers from the areas between the rivers Main and Kinzig stood and defended their Kaiser, Barbarossa, during a surprise ambush. As a reward, the Kaiser granted them with "free jurisdiction", hence the name Freigericht.

also, the pix from the catalog has the key and sword reversed in mirror fashion, whereas the coat of arms has it correctly!  in the catalog of insignia none of the other details re apparent.
