Hi Leepy

Some of your pics are out of focus so there is no way of telling what it might be as for the coin it sure is old did it come out of the ground shiny or did you polish it? If it came out shiny then it?s very probably gold if not then bronze any how they are nice finds well done to you. Ho yes the other looks like some kind of buckle and looks like bronze may I suggest that you get your self a testing kit (rubbing stone and acid) it will help you a lot in identifying the different types of metals that you find like silver gold and platin. It will also indicate how many carats your gold is like 14, 18 or 21 carat (depending on the acid used) other than that you could use a scale but that is by far more complex so go for the kit as it should not cost you to much and you will not get ripped of when you want to sell it. PS ask you local jeweler where you can purchase the kit.

Regards Xavier

Leepy, There is a "what is it?" board. photo number 5 is a good candidate for it. Also. Include as much info as possible with it. My guess is that it is a ladies Watch band link or part of the buckle. It is the right shape and size but I would have to see both sides to make a guess. Photographing it next to a coin for size always helps. If you found one link there should be others and possibly a watch. gambol
