looks like a wad cutter a modern target practice round thats why it's got a flat front end to make a neat hole in paper , are you near a practice range

hi bugfly,,your  not too far from me i live in sussex too been on the beaches at brighton quite a few times myself, used to get all my detecting gear from detectnics the other side of arundel good luck with that park,, thorin..
